Dwayne Hameister
Managing Partner, AFA Darwin
Dwayne has over 35 years’ experience in finance services, is a Certified Financial Planner with an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services. With his successful background in banking and a love for the Territory lifestyle, Dwayne joined the AFA team in 2002 to further his passion for helping clients in the area of financial advice.
In his role as Managing Partner, Dwayne continues to grow the business through outstanding financial knowledge and a superior approach to service. His day to day client experience brings first-hand knowledge about what investment solutions clients need.
Dwayne’s easy-going nature and personable approach makes complex decisions a more enjoyable experience, and he takes pleasure in assisting clients to achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Dwayne is a Certified Financial Planner and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
Angelo Maglieri
Partner, AFA Darwin
A lifelong Territorian with over 25 years experience in the financial services Industry.
Angelo brings a unique approach to managing client relationships through his experience and understanding of how portfolio construction affects clients in practice .
His specialisation in strategic planning, portfolio construction and cashflow management has earned his seat on the AAG Capital investment advisory board.
Angelo is a Certified Financial Planner and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
Paul Betti
Founder, AFA
AFA Founder Paul Betti is best described as a facilitator of change with a purpose to serve.
His extensive background in the financial sector coupled with his infectious passion for life has seen him consistently guide and inspire the AFA team to think bigger, try harder and give more.
From humble beginnings in the Northern Territory back in 1986 to a nation-wide company servicing thousands of city and regional clients, Paul has taken AFA from strength to strength.

Driven by a deep desire to help people live their best possible life without being burdened by money woes, Paul recognised a need to assist Australians with a range of financial services.
